Watched Gossip Girl last night. I started this series about 2 years ago? It’s a very scheming show full of sex and privileged teenagers in New York with seemingly unlimited wealth (and clothes).
But it’s a series much more than that. It is so full of love, between friends, best friends, family, partner. It shows the struggles that just any other person would be faced with everyday, and how the characters in this series grew and made decisions which determine their character or their state in the time.
Sometimes the decisions we make are bad, and everyone else can see it except you. Sometimes, maybe you just choose not to see it. Other times, it just represents the stage of life you’re in, or the position you have, which forces you to make the decisions that are not the best received by the people around you.
But this series really makes me see that at the end of the day all you need is a best friend, a group of friends who will stick by you no matter what, and a family you can always run back to. Everyone else is just secondary and passing by.
I think I  can safely say at this point in time, I have all of that :)

Ever wonder what would happen if you put a watermelon in the microwave? Or a lightbulb? Or a champagne bottle? They slowed it down for you so you wouldn’t miss… They? Moe’s southwest grill

This is interesting! To think I actually asked my mom to buy a microwave oven cos I used to think it was cool.

My ambition! Always working towards there!

Sometimes, advertising doesn’t work. Sometimes, it’s so efficient you can’t stop smiling for the day. That’s the effect on me of this great ad video for Lurpak.

In case you want to know what I’ve been up to this morning, it’s been watching this brilliant new ad for Lurpak with my son, on repeat, while he runs around the house screaming “MASH MASH MASH”—and I think I’m about to join him. When advertising works, it really works. The spot was produced by Wieden+Kennedy, directed by Dougal Wilson.

Cute!
